I am a multi-disciplinary artist, graphic designer and film-maker. Having originally graduated with a degree in Historical Studies from the University of Bristol, I re-trained as an artist and designer. I have an MA in Graphic Arts from the University of the West of England, and my final project, Conversations with my Mothers, examined how the graphic arts can be used to explore social issues such as gender inequality.

  • Graphic design (print, editorial, digital), photography, motion graphics, film
  • Varying degrees of proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Premiere, After Effects, InDesign, Illustrator, Lightroom, and Audition. I know a fair amount when it comes to web design, and made this site from scratch with Bootstrap 4.
  • Exhibitions

  • UWE Creative Industries Degree Show // Arnolfini, Bristol // 7th–12th June 2019
  • Drawing on the Graphic Arts // Centrespace Gallery, Bristol // 8th–13th February 2019

  • I live with my partner and three pet ferrets (what even is my life!?) in the wonderful area of St Werburgh's. When I am not doing arty stuff (which is rarely), I like climbing, walking, eating delicious food and most importantly NAPPING. I tweet about my existential crises @thecharlotteem and I have a personal blog here. I'm interested in intersectional feminism, environmental issues, mental health, and politics.
